Humpawhammer? Do I need nails?
   

This is my first visit to the Upper Mt. Gigas area. I played capture the flag, repaired the security console, and now I'm roaming around the northern area, I came upon the Humpawhammer. I pulled the lever and it started. The question is: What does it do and should I leave it alone. It didn't appear to be doing anything in particular.

it's a cute little shortcut to the Arnika Road map. Walk into the flashing disk to get zapped into that house you may have seen on the way from the Monastery. Go downstairs to open the door if you want to make it a 2-way shortcut.
