| looking for NWN group to play with |

Hello, i am looking for a NWN multiplayer group to play with that already has a server and a DM. I can play any day or night. I am not a DM, i am a player. I promise i will roleplay and i also promise that i will behave. |

Looks like my Wednesday sessions might return to the land of the living. If I get enough players, it would start at 9pm, Chicago time and run about 2 hours. If that fits your schedule, let me know. It's all NFGers right now, but I can get you the relevant info (server details, party details) via PM if you're interested. Be warned that I'm very new to DMing, but have apprenticed with Val, "Fear My Displeasure, but I Give Custom Items" DM Extrordinaire.

If we get enough people, it will be every Wednesday. The NFG, as in Nonflamer's Guild, is where the players come from. Right now, the group is Val, ffbj, and possibly Temptress. I'd like to have 3 or 4 regular players in the group and maybe a couple people that drop in from time to time.
If we get enough people, I'll PM you what you need.
Temptress usually plays a tank. ffbj usually plays a rogue. Val has been infatuated with assassins recently. What classes do you favor?

I would be a good addition because i would be one of the regulars. Every Wednesday is fine by me! Actually i can play at any time, i have no schedules except for on Thursdays but that is during the afternoon. My only (big?) problem is that i dont have the first expansion. I hope thats not a problem because im not sure if i can afford to buy it. Im in debt for three months during which im not allowed to buy anything... Would you guys be able to do it without the expansion for a while? After the three months is up, i can buy the expansions... I can get the patches though... I have a great internet connection so thats not a problem...
I think i will be a wizard. Not a specialist because i like to have the whole repretor of spells to cast. I havent installed NWN for a while, but at least i do have the original game... so i dont have a current character to use, i would have to make a new character..
I hope this wont cause any problems. I really wish i bought that expansion when i had the money to a while ago... I had gotten Tribunal instead... |

Upgrade to the latest patch and you won't need the expansion. You just won't have access to the goodies in the expansion. Like the new spells.

If this sessions , you talk about, exist now, can I join? I'm new to playing online , so if you don't mind , I'll ask some questions:
1-What approximate connection speed do I need?
2-Do I have to be in USA to play?
3-Which modules do you play? Do I need to havethem installed?
4-Do I need any programs apart from NWN & SoU?

I have no idea if dteowner is still running this group.
1. Dial-up is fine if you're a player. If you're the server, then you need broadband.
2. Nope.
3. Whatever the person running the server decides. No, you don't need them installed.
4. Nope. NWN and SoU are fine.
5. -0500 during Daylight Savings.

umm, its wednesday at 8:00 and i tried to log on to our server, but it says "client and server versions do not match." I guess i shouldnt have auto-updated. So i guess im out this week, sorry!  |

I'm very sorry, Ammon. I didn't know there was a new version available until I brought up the server. I will update before next week, once I review the changes the patch makes. Very sorry I didn't get the info to you in time.
