Damage in PoR?

Could somebody explain to me why these Drows bowmen had 4 attacks per round and they were doing obscene damage (it wasn’t even a backstabing) to my fighters with 32 AC?

Well, first of all those drow bowmen are just drow bowmen... Check their abilities, find out about their hits per round. And second of all, keep in mind that PoR game likes to cheat. Just watch the battle statistics. I think that would be the answer to your question - sad but true.

The AI does get a combat bonus. They're more weighted for natural 20s and you're more weighed for natural 1s. It defeats the purpose of the whole 1 in 20 thing.
