I can't get my lock pick skill to work |
|
Can anyone help me?
I have problems using my lockpicking skill.
I have both the skill and some lock-picks, but "he" just says: I never get this open without the right key.
Or something like that.
I have tried it both on a door and a chest that I found.
Somebody please help me.

Some doors and chests can only be opened with a key. There are some things they dont want to to get to before its time. To use the pick lock skill you must have lock picks in your inventory. If a lock is pickable then when you click on it you will kneal in front of it and be able to pick it. I know of 1 chest that cant be opened and the some doors around town cant be picked. The sewer doors also cannot be picked.
Hope this helps you _________________ God Bless You! |

Thanks for the info.
I guess I just found a chest and a door that couldn't be picked.
I can tell that the door is at the waterline in the harpor (to the right), I found it while swimming.
I was told that the thief that stole Bosper's bow, jumped into the water. So I got the idea that he might had a cave or something like that and found a door.

Yes that is the sewer entrance and you will have to do a certain set of tasks to get the key. _________________ God Bless You! |

*watch out: spoiler ahead*
when you don't have any lockpicks in your inventory, the character says "a few lockpicks would help" and when you haven't learnt lockpicking "i know nothing about that skill". you can get the key to the sewers by doing some quests with rengaru, halvor, canthar, and nagur. _________________ One blade good, two blade better
