While you're waiting for G2, you might like to try my new G1 mod, The Trial. It's a combat heavy-mod that adds party-building to Gothic in a new scenario.

It's at the stage where I need a few people to test that it runs as it should. Could anyone who is interested and has a few hours to spare (and G1 installed), mail me.
I'd like people with slower machines and less than 512 MB if possible. Also, knowing already how the player kit is used to run mods would be helpful.

My specs are PIII at 866 Mhz, 256 Ram, Geforce 2 MX 400,

How do you make mods for Gothic? Did the release a dev toolkit? Do you know what 3D engine they used? : ) |
