How do you display your framerate? Also, I can't figure out how to change between 32 bit color and 16. I don't want to run 32, but just make sure it is on 16. I have a GeForce2 GTS 32mb. Thanks.

search the morrowind.ini for a "showFPS=0" and change it to 1. As far as I know, Morrowind uses the color depth of the desktop settings, so if you have them 16bit, it uses 16bit. I understand that you may get some speed boost with that, but I pity you for the lost splendor 32bit give

Thanks, but didn't you see my video card? I can't even run Aliens vs. Predator 2 in 32bit mode, much less Morrowind. I have my desktop in 32bit right now and am having to run the game at 800x600 with half view distance. Maybe I can improve that now.

Ha, so I went into control panel and changed my desktop to 16bit. When I try to load the game it says,

Render Creation Error: "Unsupported desktop resoltion. CHance windows resolution to "True Color (32bit)"."

Great! I am running XP btw.
