Door won't open / can't find tavern (start of game)

Hi,

I got a problem -- I can't find the tavern. I have been playing
for some hours now. I got stuck after I saw a human outpost
with dead bodies everywhere -- I read a walkthrough, which said
I had to enter a tavern -- but all I got is a big closed door near
the human outpost -- the door does not seem to open --
what am I doing wrong ?

I searched the forum here -- but I couldn't find anything resembling
this problem ... help me please

Go back to that big door you can't open (I don't know what that door is for even after finishing the game). As you face this door the Tavern is down the corridor to the charactors left.
