What music does the RPGdot crowd listen to? My listening cycles tend to be almost seasonal, its weird. Right now, the crisp air that smells like Fall(even here in SoCal) has made me dust off the Sisters Of Mercy and Bauhaus. Truly timeless, these bands just never wear out for me. Currently in my cd player:

Sisters of Mercy - Floodland
Sisters of Mercy - First and Last and Always
Bauhaus -'79 - '83
Danzig- I Luceferi (not recommended, if i could only return it! trying to salvage some pleasure out of it)
Cradle of Filth - Dark Faerytales

Ohhh, now I know where you got that name Gish, its like their debut album title, huh?? I liked a few songs off that, but that was ages ago. Picked up Siamese Dream a few years ago when things were still on casette, but it never really grew on me tho. I was expecting something heavier so I "lent" it to someone who liked it that I guess never gave it back. Have you listened to Zwan at all? ='.'=

I'm at work right now, but I brought along my portal mp3 player. Thank heaven for it's 10 GB storage space and AC adapter.
Currently playing:

Right now I'm listening to Ayreon - Merlin's Will. Next on the list is Felix - Don't you want me. Last CD I bought was the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack Part II.

The observant reader will note my genre of choice. At the moment, I'm enjoying blueScreen's full length debut with Lush's "Split" on deck.

I listen to System of a Down, and used to listen to Coal Chamber.

I mostly listen to Rhapsody, but sometimes change to Disturbed or Alien Ant Farm, and I still listen to The Offspring now and again.

Yes, try TOOL, TOOL, and TOOL. Their sound changes slightly each cd, but its a good change. Rarely do bands change and I like it, usually its a change for the worse. But Tool has gotten better IMHO, theres no way I can say which cd is my favorite because i love them all. Like early Danzig(stress *EARLY* Danzig). Might also want to check out a one-shot band put together from Pantera and Corrosion of Conformity called "Down". They put out one cd called Nola, hard southern-fried gloomy power-metal. If you want some good old-school Black Metal, Id try out Mercyful Fate's Melissa or Dont Break the Oath.

Summation-
Tool- any one will do
Down- Nola
Mercyful Fate- Melissa, Dont Break the Oath
**Bonus Suggestions** Limited time only! Order now!
Cradle of Filth- Cruelty and the Beast
Kevorkian Death Cycle- Collection for injection

TOOL is great, indeed. I think the two newest albums are the best, Aenima and Lateralus.

Now listening Cowboy Bebop OST 1&2

On my playlist almost daily:

Green Carnation
Arcturus
Ulver
Coil
Muse
Morphine
Gordian Knot
Genesis (the Peter Gabriel-era)
Queens of the Stone Age
