NOTR: Question about a certain broken bridge...

In the AddOn world there is a ruined-filled area on the other side of a broken
bridge near the "Estate of the Dead".

I have figured out how to get over there (by jumping from a ledge *above*
the bridge), but cannot for the life of me figure out how to leave.

I thought maybe a transformation scroll, but this game doesn't have the
bloodfly one (I think). The only other option is a teleport rune, but I don't have one yet. It's too far to jump, I'll always fall into the chasm. Is acrobatics the key? I seem to recall reading that you can learn that
again in the AddOn.

It's a good thing I have a save *before* I jumped over because it looks like
I am truly stuck. Is there a correct way of getting across this landmass that
I have missed? I searched like crazy for buttons, levers, anything that would help -- I found nothing. I really want the goodies I found here.

I noticed that too, but I gave up trying because I couldn't find a way to go there and return safely.
Tell me what goodies and I'll try again

Transformation-Scroll works, don't use a Blood-Fly Spell use a Spell for the greatest Beasty (I don't know the English name, maybe Shadow Beast)

I used acrobatics, IIRC. If transformation works, then it'd be a lot easier to attain, though.

Okay, I was finally able to get back to the other side by transforming into a wolf, jumping at *just* the right part of the bridge, and then transforrming back into a human *just* as I landed.

IF you don't change back into a human as you land, then you will fall off the bridge because when you land only 3/4 of your wolf body is on the bridge.

But when you change back into a human, your whole body is on the bridge and you don't fall.

There is probably an easier way (like acrobatics -- but I haven't found a trainer), but it got the job done -- whew.

Thanks for the tips.

P.S. -- Among the goodies you find over there are:

1. Magic Bow - Does 100 dmg, but only requires 50 dex. However, it seems to only work with Magic Arrows and you only find 20 with the bow. I wonder if there are others stashed somewhere in the game. (Note: there is also a comparable Magic Crossbow in the AddON world that is easier to reach)

2. Stone Tablet of 2-Handed fighting I

3. Black Ore -- I've already found 2 of these, but I"m not sure exactly what they do except make you feel trippy.

4. Ruby Blade - 2 handed sword that does 110 dmg, but only needs 90 str. It also adds 7 points to your 2H skill.

5. Various high quality potions (non permanent though)

You wont be able to train acrobatics as such, it comes as a bonus. Like the "Nostalgia bonus", it happens when something certain occures. Or like the "Stunt bonus". In any case, you can get to that side of the bridge from the cliff above. With acrobatics it's easiest, but without it, it will work too. Getting back from that side is easier, as it's elevated higher then other side.

nostalgia bonus?

Whailor,

Found the "stunt bonus" but totally missed the "nostalgia bonus". Does it have anything to do with restoring the memory of that guy from the Sect Camp? I never brewed that poition because I wasn't a skilled alchemist

I actually managed to get to the other side. The transform trick works pretty well.

You automatically learn Acrobatics if your Dexterity is high enough (90 IIRC).
For the how-to-get-back-on-the-other-side... it might help to reduce the Game/Grafic Options (you can jump a little better with more FPS) and jump in the latest moment possible. It's possible to reach the other side without any tricks/transforms/etc - not easy, but possible.

Best regards, Nico

ps: well, there is a reason why one can find Snapper Weed right there
