Is wiz anything like morrowind? |
|
what i mean is...can you go out and explore the world that is in front of you or is it more like DS(yuck!!) where you follow one straight line? I loved the freedom that morrowind gave you with the world but i also wanted more of a story. this game seems to be what i was looking for but how is the world handled? |

From a freedom/story aspect, Wiz8 is more like MW than DS. Actually, if you liked MW, chances are pretty good that Wiz8 won't offend you. They have plenty in common, and the differences aren't necessarily bad. Personally, after around 20 hours with my current MW character, I think that Wiz8 might be a better game. I'm finding the incredible amount of freedom in MW to be a bit daunting. While I don't like being led around by the nose, I like to have a few possible directions laid out for me.

dteowner...I have the game. I havent gotten into it though. Im a very slow gamer. Took me forever to even start this game. I hated DS. you could literally mark a line from where you startedto where you end in that game. It was so boring with no staory and all. Morrowind was extremely fun for he freedom but like you said it was daunting. so i wanted wiz to be a game where i could go out and explore for better weapons but at the same time say im getting somewhere rather than higher in levels. That was the problem with morrowind. When you were doing things it felt very bland. It felt like you werent doing anything because every other cave looked just like that last. But its still a good game...i hope wiz 8 is better. |

I think that if we will talk about freedom, Wiz8 is somewhere between MW and DS, possibly closer to MW, but really - there is not such huge freedom.
Wiz8 was my first real RPG and it is nearly legend for me. When I think about it - I never played better game. But maybe it is because it was my first RPG.
And when I see this forum - first forum I moderated here - still full of life, I can see that his game has and will have long life. And what else could prove that it is really good game? |
