Yes it's truly annoying, but when I think about all the horrifying, painful, and permanent things we must encounter in life as human beings, I find it really difficult to become literally upset over something so ultimately painless and annoying at worst. If the worst thing that happens to me over the course of the day is being flogged with some advertisement, then I am truly blessed.

..and I simply refuse to alter or reconfigure my computer in any way, around some lousy advertisement ='.'=

-glad you guys like that gif!

At the moment I'm using a university pc without popup-blocker and I must say it is really getting on my nerves. Thank god servicepack2 also has a popup blocker.

We need a repeat of xSam's method of dealing with that darn thing. I had it blocked out before the hack, but now I can't seem to get rid of it. When will this ad campaign be over by the way???????Please?????????

I have a pop-up blocker and somehow it still comes up. It is bizarre and annoying. I know they are just trying to advertise but it is bordering on infuriating.

My blocker won't work on it now. I may have to go back to firefox again til the seige is over. That does get rid of her and her rolling eyes. lol

Absolutely, this is a great advertising example for Firefox.

Actually, I have only seen this ad ONCE, and that was in school when I had to use IE. As have been said, in Firefox, it doesn't appear at all.

If for some reason you don't want to see the Fable ad and you have IE/w SP2 running, you must disable Flash in SP2 options (might be in extras - don't know, I'm not home right now. But disabling Flash does work).

Can you not just make it go away and never come back? It's adverts like this that make me not want to by a game, just because of the sheer annoyance.

As has been explained before, ad placement is not in the hands of the RPGDot network anymore. RPGDot is owned by Jolt UK now who are responsible for advertising and all things related.

By the way, in my opinion Fable is a very funny and entertaining game .
