problem with main quest - cloud ruler temple

ok it seems i have one problem here. i tried everything but every time i get to the cloud ruler temple (which is locked), which Jauffre should open for me, well he doesn't. He stands a few feet away and waits.

i tried talking to him, i tried going to town to see if there was something i was supposed to do but nothing. can someone help here cause i have been stuck there for two days now.

You have to wait for him.
He will open the door.
Just wait for him to do it when he arrives.
