The tragic irony of Biff.

I just played through G2 again and this time I took Biff with me on the ship. After I finished the island and was coming back to the ship, relaying the news to everyone, Biff said he was going to raid the island. So while everybody else was boarding the ship to leave, Biff was scooping up invisible loot in the cave of the first dragon. I watched him do this for a while, then went back to the ship and left. I see no possible alternative: Biff got left behind. After spending the entirety of his appearance in this game vying for opulence, by a cruel twist of fate he ended up trapped forever with all the wealth he could possibly desire. Now I wonder about poor old Biff. Is he still pacing around his piles of loot growing steadily more insane? The King of Irdorath? Left to ponder the errors of his ways like the star of almost every Twilight Zone episode? Poor Biff, I laugh at your pain.

That's hilarious! Never took Biff with me - didn't trust him.

I took Biff with me once, but he killed himself by running from the nearest cliff. I never get it when a NPC does that.

That's funny but not unexpected lol

I wrote a thread about how to effectively use Biff as a hunting partner. He can be useful for a novice, or for someone willing to tolerate him. If you follow my "guide" he won't make much money so it is not needed to kick his arse and rob him when you don't need him anymore. To a good player it is NOT worth the trouble unless you are truly bored and want to use him. It kinda turns into an escort mission if you enter some bad areas.

And HELL NO!, I am not searching for a link to the thread LMAO.

You recruit him in the VOM. He travels to Khorinis afterwards.

Little known Biff fact:

On Irdorath, if you catch Biff off the ship killing orcs (such as when they spawn after you kill the orc colonel), you will trigger a conversation with him, asking him why he's off the boat, netting you 300 xp, and earning a sarcastic reply from Biff as he returns to the ship. It's kinda random, since he has to be close enough to the gangplank to attack the orc that spawns nearby on the land, and you have to come upon him at that time, as he kills the orc - but it's happened to me twice on it's own, and once when I intentionally lured an orc near the gangplank while Biff's route brought him near enough to help me fight the orc.

...and then he gets left behind in the end. Sorry, Biff!
