Ebony Shortsword Local

In the strategy guide, there are two references to an ebony shortsword "among some boulders" on the Odai plateau, where you create Rethan Manor. The map is SO hard to find specifics, and I can't find squat. Anyone have any luck?

Hi Codex,

I understand (from my readings elsewhere) that "an ebony shortsword "among some boulders" on the Odai plateau" the sword is actually IN the boulder. un-getable

But rt by the water's edge there (marshy / swampy) is a half hidden chest with a few odd things, +/- value.

I havent seen it, so cant say, myself.
