Ok I read in a post that the special snapper that your supposed to get for lutero is near xardas's old tower in the valley of mines(the one with the demon in it now). I have searched high and low near that tower and have yet to find it. Is this where it is supposed to be?? Any help would be great!! |

You are in the right area, but the Snapper will only appear when a certain quest in chapter 2 is triggered. You must be in Chapter 2. If you are, then your next step will be to go talk to everyone in the nearby ore mining camp led by the Paladin Fajeth.
If you have already finished the task Fajeth will ask you to do, then you lost your chance to kill the Snapper leader.

Go to Fajeth's mine, kill all the snappers in the area, then go talk to Fajeth. He will ask you to kill all the snappers in the area, this will cause more snappers to spawn.
Now go talk to Bilgot, ask him about the snappers, he will ask you to lead him out of the valley, promise him that you will do so and then he will tell you about the snapper leader.
This causes the pack leader to spawn in the nearest watchtower (the tower facing Fajeth). Go wack the snapper leader and kill all the other snappers too. Dont forget to get the claws off the pack leader (you DO NOT need claw removal skill for those. So dont bother getting that skill and save your points for something else.)
Go speak to Fajeth for +200 Exp. either tell him you killed the leader or all the snappers it doesn't matter, you only get 200 exp. once. I think this is a bug though, it should give you +200 for each option.
Then once you're done with everything else in chapter 2 go get Bilgot out of the valley for another 300 Exp. Don't forget to keep your promise!
You can speak to Fed and Tengron about the snappers as well but it has no bearing other then some extra dialogue. |
