You know what I would really like? I'd really like to get a version of the game with German spoken dialogue but English subtitles.
Anyone know if this is possible? |

You can buy the German Gold edition from rollenspiel.de and then apply the translation mod. All the german lines will be replaced by English ones (including menus etc.), but the dialogues will still be German.

You want to know why I would like this? There are a few reasons.
1) I don't like the English voice acting. The guy who does the main character is especially bad. (If the German actors are also bad, I won't be able to tell  )
2) Listening to dialogue in a foreign language makes me feel more immersed in another world.
3) I am an American, but with German ancestry. I like to hear the German language (though I would be interested in having access to other languages in the game as well).
4) I like to be exposed to other languages in general.

Cool! I'll look into that. Does the mod come with the Gold package or is it fan-made?
I kinda wish all games allowed this option. 
[EDIT:] Hmmm, rollenspiel.de doesn't seem to have a heck of a lot of options. Main (title screen), Register (give them your email so they can send you ads (which I did ), and Contact (email them). Are they not an online store?  |
