Which would you rather have? An army of orcs at your disposal, or an army of zombies? I know I would pick zombies, 'cause zombies rule! _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

Zombies. They're tougher than orcs, you don't need to worry about morale or supply lines, and if you have the power to animate them in the first place troop replacement is easy... every fight you win you get to add the other army to yours.
There's no infighting, no political agendas, no sudden betrayals or unasked for initiative. Just a wave of unfeeling, unmerciful, controllable death. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

Zombies, for reasons stated by Xen.
Plus, I love the undead. _________________ CaptainWorshipperNonFlamer

Zombies of course. It's like picking between Val and Pinnen. I'd much rather have Val fighting at my side then Pinnen, no offence intended Pinnen, she's just more scary then you. _________________ There once was a youngster, DzD

Zombies. I *do* think I'd get along better with Orcs, but this is about efficiency, and you don't have to feed Zombies... they need a lot less maintenance than Orcs. Besides, they usually don't gripe. _________________ Jaz |

Zombies of course. Also for the same reason as Xen said. Orcs are prettier, but zombies are far easier to control. |

Definately Orcs. Nowhere in the original question did it say that you have the power to make new zombies. So, if we assume you do not have the power, then Orcs are prefered because they can replicate and keep making your army bigger or replenish the losses.
If we assume you do have the power to make new zombies, then one can argue that long term, you're the weak link. With Orcs, you can convince them of your agendas, so even if you die, an army of Orcs will keep doing your bidding and furthering your cause. An army of zombies will just sit there until they either rot apart or maybe they'll just turn back into corpses since you're not around to keep them animated.
Additionally, someone brought up a good point. Orcs can think. Some would say that that's a bad thing. But, if they can think, then their thoughts can be manipulated. Through manipulation one can mould them into different kinds of versitile soldiers, while zombies are always just one type: cannon fodder. Due to their autonomous thinking ability Orcs probably make better warriors too.
About the only proper counter argument against Orcs is the fact that they are alive. So they need food and shelter and such. On the other hand, zombies are just animated corpses. Corpses that rot and fall apart with time. In other words they have an expiry date. An Orcish army does not (assuming you can feed them). _________________ (@) |

My tests indicate that orcs are the better of the two. _________________ "There is no way around it. Correct is correct. I am correct, therefore I win."
