I killed all the golems outside except for the fire one, and I know that I'm supposed to use a lightning scroll so I teleported back to the water mages and tried to buy some but all the stores were out of stock because I beat the merchants up.

I even looked through my inventory (as strange an idea as it is) and woops no lightning spell scrolls. I do have some lightning runes but I'm a dumb warrior and I don't really feel like leveling 5 more times just to be able to use the runes and get past this damn quest!!

If anyone could tell me where I might be able to get a lightning scroll or maybe the cheat for it, I would be so happy that I couldn't resist devouring another jar full of PICKLED HUMAN FETUSES!

You could also use ice spells. I used a bunch of Ice Bolt scrolls.
