free space-trading mmorpg!!
   

over 3 years ago I heard about an online space trading type game with the name Diaspora through a friend who used to read the new groups. The game itself was shut down over a year ago due to the collapse of the owning company and is currently offline for an indefinate amount of time. a game based on the same client has been produced from the ground up under the name Rillaspora and is available for free download from the website.

its like a 2d sci-fi space rpg type game. similar to trade wars. theres a total 18 planets to visit, and 3 zones to fly through..

the only problem is that there is a lack of players.

should check it out.
