im stuck in the temple at a door which requires you to stand on red squares on the floor which light up when you stand on them to unlock it, i have no idea how to go about this, any ideas?

Spoiler:
Walk in an "H" pattern on the floor, if you are where I think you are. Go up one side, stopping on the third square; go back one square, then go across the middle to the other side, stopping on the last square; then go left a square, but dont go off this corner square, turn around and go back acrross the two other squares on that side.
This is the first time I have atttempted to use the spoiler butten, if it doenst work, i'll have to edit
