| Just bought Gothic and need a hand |

Well, like I said I just got this game, but it game with NO directions, book, anything. So I have been stumbling along aimlessly but still having fun. But for some help;
Ok, question 1) Where do I learn spells, magic circles, etc etc. I have bought the books for circles 1-4, and have a couple runes that say circle 1, but when I try casting, its says Im missing one spell in this circle or something like that. (Im posting at work and cant remember exactly how its stated)
2) I was looking more to train 2h weapon, but cant find anyone around the old camp to do it. I am now a guard and am not real interested joining the other camps. But all I have found is x-bow, 1h weapon, and bow.
*edit* 3) Ok, and when I trade for stuff, weapons, blah blah all the ore #'s I get are in 100 stacks. Is there anyway to change the amount. You know, 123, 443, 1097, etc etc?
For now I think thats about it. Thanks for the help ahead of time!! |

This is great game but huge. Go to the download section, click gallery, click gothic, click special, click on page 2, and download the FAQ file for a reference tool. It will help you get on the right track. The maps are nice too. Hope this helps a little.

Hmmm. . . Okay, here's how it works for me. I use control to transfer in increments of one, control and alt at the same time to transfer in increments of ten, and control and shift at the same time to transfer in amounts of 100. I hope this helps you!
