This can be from any computer or console RPG. You can list more than one character, just give your reasons for any characters you provide.
I'll start off: K.K. Slider from Animal Crossing. Yes, it is an odd game, but it's also insanely fun. I know that probably few of you have played it (or even own a GameCube), but the idea of living in a town that's running 24-7 whether you're playing or not is just too cool, even if it is inhabited entirely by animals. Anyway, K.K. is the dog that shows up every Satuday night to play for the town on his guitar. There's nothing quite as cool as going out at 11p.m. and listening to K.K. jam for a while. Best of all, he gives you whatever song he plays after he's done. Weird, but still cool. |

Marcus the super mutant from Fallout 2. Because when you come to New Reno and you don't tell him to watch your car it isn't going to be stolen. But if you tell him to watch your car, it will be stolen. When it has been stolen and you ask him why, he will say that you just told him to watch the car. Fun!

It's a toss up between 2. Nordern in PS-T who had to be not only the greatest creation ever, but also the funniest; especially his dialogue with Anna and Shodan the villain behind the System Shock series. Pure Evil!!

it would have to be Kain from Legacy of kain series ... all these new school Soul Reaver folks hate him ... i liked it better when he was the one you got to play as and kill stupid posers like Raziel ... long live kain... yes i do own blood omen 2 and the original and yes i am kinda obsessed

Hm, that's difficult. Shodan is high up on my list as well, but is she one of my all time favorites? Not sure... she is not necessarily evil, she just has her own agenda and she's extremely mean.
I like Lance from Cybermage, he was a pretty down-to-earth enemy of the regime; I like Jakel from the LoL series because I somehow feel sorry for him (a flying, big-mouthed robe, indeed), and I absolutely love Grunty from JA and JA2 (his comments are incredibly dry, and he'll do nearly anything if ordered and be proud of it...).

For me it's Edwin from Baldurs Gate2, I just licked the way he treated other people callin them monkeys and things like that Besides he was so funny when he turned into a women  |

don't flame me for saying this.....
from a non rpg i would have to say cleb from blood..he is so deranged it is hilarius listening to him make twisted comments when he is blowing up zombies or blasting cultists w/ a sawed-off shotgun..now form an rpg i would have to say wilhelm from vampire tmr...he is so kewl and knowledgable i couldn't help but like him.....

1) Garett from the Thief series. Nothing comes close in the coolness factor for me
2) Edwin from BG2.

Annah from PS:T. She could handle herself and was street smart yet at the same time vulnerable, neurotic yet sane, hard yet soft, had a sexy voice... and ya’ gotta love the tail.
Plus I was enamored with Tieflings even before I played the game. |

The only character I can come up with now is Grumpos (the old man in Anachronox). Because he is so anoying and I don't know how many times he hit the main character Boots in the head with his "stick" and his special skill Yammer, wow, I have never read everything he says to all those NPCs in the game. |
