Mt. Gigas Caves - automatic security machine.

All

I placed my level 3 security pass on the screen --> the machine broke down.
I repaired it via reattaching the cables (green then blue). Nothing happened.
I once more place my level 3 security card and only get the response that the machine is broken and that it should be taken into service.
The doors (east) is still locked.

Am I doing something wrong here or is there at least a work around to get further in the game?

By the way if someone could care telling me where I can find High voltage transformer, loudspeaker in the lower Mt. gigas caves...

Thanks

There are 3 cables on the back of the machine you need to repair not only 2

I don't believe the loudspeaker was put into the final version of the game. I never found it. And sorry, I can't remember where I got the voltage amplifier.

I'm pretty sure Crock sells the Voltage Amplifier. I'm certain he drops it, but not how often. (PP takes a while; he has a huge list, and it's pretty far down)

Thanks Michael !

I swear that I tried connect the white cable before, but I must have doing it in the wrong order since I always got electrified when touching it.
Anyway I'm past it now and on my way back to Arnika

Bilbo, could only find the ptorch...
but maybe I can find a voltage amplifier somewhere else.

Geez Otter, don't you buy from merchants anymore?
Yes, Crock does sell the Voltage Amplifier, amongst many other nifty gadget parts.

I recall having an incredibly embarrassing time with those cables. I kept electricuting myself to death. I was never intuitive about electrical cables, which is why I'll probably never make the demolition squad.

Yah, the T'rang machines are smarter--they repair themselves if you bring their wires...
