What is your favorite race? |
|
What is your favorite race playing Oblivion and why?
I prefer Breton just for the look, but I haven't tried much of the other races. Any suggestions... _________________ All you need to know to make money online |

Night Elf... umm... or -oops wrong game- ...I mean Dark Elf. I've always liked summoning in RPGs (commanding your own little mini army of baddies rocks ) so the 'Ancestor Guardian' skill of the Dark Elf is very much to my liking (and I also have Conjuration as a major skill, of course ).
What I don't like about the class is the looks. The skin always has a green-ish/blue-ish tone and it was very difficult to make the character's appearance somewhat decent but I don't really care since I'm playing in 1st person 100% of the time and due to the Shrouded Armor + Hood you can't see much of the guy anyway when zoomed out (or in inventory screen) . |

From a "munchkin" perspective : Redguard (unless you're a pure caster, then High Elf).
The race I actually like best : Khajit (and no I'm not a furry!).
I'm a cat person, but mainly I loved the goodbye Khajit's sometimes used in Morrowind. "May you walk on warrrm sands." |

From a purely visual perspective I preferred the Khajiit in their Ohmes-raht form (i.e., up to and including Daggerfall). The cat headed folks they used from 'Redguard' on were a major turn-off for me so I experimented with different races.
Nowadays my favorite 'race' are the Imperials... I always had a thing for Romans, followed by Bretons and Dunmer. _________________ Is that clear?

Redguard. I like their appearance and I like the type of gameplay they seem to be made for. |

Nords for combat or khajit for stealth. For hybrid characters i just choose nord.
