Re: the fire golem at Xardas' tower. All I have for magic is wall of ice and wave of ice scrolls and these don't seem to do any damage to the golem unless I'm doing something wrong. I don't have the necessary skill to cast ice bolt. (I have played the whole game with very little emphasis on magic). Is there somewhere that I can buy a scroll of ice bolt that I can cast without being skilled in the first circle of magic? |

Did you read the books in the libarary? I think they said you need to use lightning.

sorry gorath but I remember well that the 2 times I played G1 I always defeated the fire golem with ice, lightning was for the ice golem I thaught

I also defeat it with ice.Never used lighting.

Ice or linghting are the same(but linghting is more powerful).
Remember it has a high defense against fire arrow and meele, but less defense aganist magic:that means that you can beat it with ALL non-fire spells. |

A fireball kills the ice golem in one hit while the fire golem took like two or three hits from ball lightning for me. Quick and easy without them even touching me  |
