First let me say that I have not read this entire post and am only responding to the title of the topic:
I honestly don't know what disturbs me more; the fact that there is an Alien vs. Predator movie on the way or that there is someone who is so excited by this that there are seceral exclamation points after the title. (j/k)
I like the Alien movies, not so much the Predator ones. But, truth be told, I have been interested in playing the pc game. Still am actually, but haven't found the time to check out the demo.

If my humble opinion counts for anything, the first game was way better than the second one. _________________ CaptainWorshipperNonFlamer

It was mostly the Alien part of the game I liked better in the first game. The speed and the camera angle made felt more 'Alien' than in the sequal.
Scribbles, may I ask you, are you swedish? _________________ CaptainWorshipperNonFlamer

no actually im American, of German, French (Royal ) Irish, and Scottish decent.
as for the Royal in me, i am a decendant of the guardsmen who protected the kings hunting grounds. hence my real name, "Huntsman" and my title, "The Hunter"
may i ask you, which hat is it that you are the wearer of? is it THE HAT or some other hat? _________________

I see, the reason I ask is because of your signature, now dealt with in another thread in the Gothic 2 part of the forums.
The wearer of the hat I wear, naturally. In here, the hat you see in my portrait, in real life, the hat I wear everyday. The hat, in other words. _________________ CaptainWorshipperNonFlamer

ahh, i see. my friend Irf told me of a way to see the concert in the English version and i went through great pains to find the name of the song, the lyrics, and the translation. my friend, whom was born in Germany, has the CD that its on. i copied the song onto my computer from his CD and put it on a mix cd with some other stuff. i got both the accoustic version and the normal version. its a very good song _________________

Ah, but you have the Swedish translation, and not the German one. That´s why I asked.
This would be the German one:
Einmal früh morgens vor Sonnenaufgang
Bevor der Vögel Lied erklang
Machte die Bergtrollin dem Ritter einen Antrag
Sie sprach mit gespaltener Zunge
Ritter Mannelig, Ritter Mannelig
Bitte heirate mich
Ritter Mannelig, Ritter Mannelig
Bitte heirate mich
And the part you have in ypour signature is this:
Ritter Mannelig, Ritter Mannelig
Bitte heirate mich

ahh. see, i thought that it was german, but i know a little bit (very little tiny speck) of German so i knew that something was wrong, but i dont know enough of the language to know. plus, i dont think i have ever seen swedish so i couldn't make a comparison. thanks for that little piece of wisdom, i shall hold it for further reference _________________

Ah, thanks for posting this, Pinnen. I never knew what they were singing about in this song, but now it makes much more sense.
For those who are interested, another nice and rather.. interesting song by In Extremo is "Traubentritt". It's an instrumental, medieval interpretation of a well known song. _________________ “Through the sounds of falling rain, through the clouds of bitter times
