Orc Elites drop dragonroots from time to time. If you clear all the orcs in
Chapers II, IV and V, which is not too hard to do with a one-handed
weaponmaster, you end up with at least 20 roots by chapter VI.
I think that black goblics drop goblin berries, but I never cared, so I did not
really pay attention.

I think Mario is the biggest mistake...he's good for exp but I beat him really fast at lvl 30 which I ended up beating the game at 33 after killing some crew mates which was really fun !! but Mario...Beware of his Groove !!

I had with me.. Let me think..
Lester, Diego, Lares, Girion, Vatras, Mario, Milten, Gorn, Lee, Angar, Bennet and one of the captains, there's 3 you can choose from. You can have Wolf, but then need to boot someone (I booted Lares, he was most useless of them all), and of course you have to NOT do one mission if you want Wolf. So, 12 in total. |

I was wondering if Xardas is recruitable. I found his body in a cave with skeletons and minecrawlers. Did he get killed by these things before I could talk to him or was this just a strange bug? |

You can't recruit Xardas. That's funny cause I found Gorn dead in that cave if it's the one I'm thinking of. And that was after I recruited Gorn. You can have Girion if you go to the Judge as Dragon Hunter. I think you have to go to Lee first and ask how to take over the ship.
