Raven and fire mage question

I have two questions. We start with the Raven question I have now been in the O ld mine and killed the Minecralwer Queen and now I am going to Kor Kalom. Earlier in the game I killed Raven do I have to report to him later??? And the second question. How do I become a Mage or a guard at this point when I have been to the queen and killed her???

You weren't supposed to kill Raven. You had to report to him about the Sect Camp.
To become a guard or fire mage, talk to Thorus.
