I believe the name of the quest is called 'Breaking the Vows' but I've already forgotten.
Anyway, the quest is for a Dark Brotherhood Silencer to silence a kittycat in Bruma. I follow the compass to his house and when I go inside it either points me back to the door or right in front of the staircase. I've done pretty much everything I can think of to find him and I hope this quest isnt broken. Anybody else finished this one? I found his Hand Robes so I'm guessing he is another Hand member...
Any help finding the sonofagun would be appreciated.

Pretty useless andswer maybe, but check for a cellar or a third floor, I didn't do the quest but experienced the same when looking for people inside houses.

I'm pretty sure I checked every nook and cranny in the house but then again, I was a little drunk.
EDIT: Ok, I'm an idiot. I went back now that I'm sober and I found a trap door...
