Keys & Key Ring?
   

I put all my keys on the key ring, but when I got back to the rebel camp and tried to get in, the door would not open. I double clicked on my key ring and clicked on lock, nothing. I did this several times. The handbook says that once keys are on the ring, just use the ring. I can't get the keys off the ring either.

The key to the camp is not a regular key so it won't be on the ring. Check your inventory for a strange looking little thing the shape of a dagger. You will get the name when you hoverer over it.
