I always felt that M&M 6 & 7 were the 'Ulitma 7' of the M&M series. Guess it's just me.

i liked part 4+5 the most, and thought they were the peak of the series.

There was mention of ARX 2 being shopped around at one time. Does this mean that there are still plans for a sequel? Do they have a team working onit while another was working on this new game?

I liked 4+5 the best too. I did enjoy 6-7 as well though, I even thought 8 was okay. As long as it is an rpg I normally don't complain. I can quite clearly state though after reading that interview this is one M&M I certainly won't be picking up.

Very informative answers and nice inteview. I really like foundations of their game design, except that the world is not open and persistant.. I am geting more and more interested in the game.

I've always considered this Severance/Blade of Darkness II. I love RPG's but a little action here and there is quite welcome. That's why I mention Conan: the Dark Axe to anyone who will listen

Probably not a bad analogy - but with more Morrowind mixed in, in terms of choice-based skill progression.

I love that the XP are goal based.

I want to be really excited about this game, but its emphasis on the online component makes me doubt its overall quality and the value of the sp game.

Most of what I've *heard* sounds good, though.

Don't like how they're only including a half-@ssed dismembering system. Would have thought in this type of game with the technology available that it would have been a given.

What I am intersted in is how long this game is gonna be. Sure, it look purty, it seems to have neat FP melee combat, fine use of physics, magic, and even a few RPG elements - but if its one of those 10 hour games - No thanks.

Good interview, it was about time we got some more info about the forgotten M&M. I was getting sick of hearing about the H3 remake.

I'll definetly buy it because it has Might and Magic in the title. I've even got Crusaders and Legends and enjoyed them both. I've got problems.

Oh yeh and everyone knows MM2 was the best.
