I just completed the game and I must say it has one of the worst endings ever created. With how long it took to finish the game you would think at least there would be a descent ending. I was so much hoping for another movie like the intro, but sadly no. If the game wasn't as great as it is, I would never play it again. One things for sure though, there will be a sequel. At least they give you that info at the end.

That was the first thing that most Germans said: "WTF! Where's the ending that I deserve!!!" hehe... A website said that one.

The ending is not only disappointing, itīs also way too easy.
The only positive thing I can say about the ending is that PB at least produced a FMV. It was not rewarding enough, but it was a movie and not only a simple "Congratulations! Press Esc to start a new game."
One more reason why Gothic is a very good game but no masterpiece.

i haven't finished this game
but i reckon i finished return to krondor
the game was lame, but there were meant to be 2 sequels to finish the trilogy
sierra stopped producing the krondor series, so no sequels, so believe me... when it comes to gothic, u're pretty well off at this point
