How to tell if patch installed correctly?

I can't figure out if the patch installed correctly (ie - how do I see the version number of the game I'm playing?)

I downloaded the most recent patch from the Larian page, and followed the instructions, but I don't want to get too far into the game without confirmation that i have done this correctly.

Thanks for any assistance with this.

I dont have the game installed right now so i cant be sure, but i think it shows the version number in one of the corners (lower left if i remember correctly) in the menu...

Windows can also do that for you. If you right-click div.exe, pick properties, there you should be able to see it on the summary side.
