Oh, they stick in most walls very nicely indeed! Unfortunately, Gordon doesn't seem to be able to get a purchase on them.
I was, however, suitably impressed to note that you can stick a few buzzsaw blades into a wall, pick up a radiator and drag it across them, and it makes exactly the kind of sound you'd expect.
A cunning trick I noticed is that you can embed a few blades in the floor, and stack cylindrical objects that would otherwise roll away between them. You can embed them in a wall at an angle and use them to hold items at eye-level. I'm pleased to see that throwing paint over zombies makes them easier to see in low-light conditions, and that small critters can be neutralised by putting something heavy on top of them, and that matresses flop around while being carried.
I'm a little annoyed that matresses don't actually burn when you put them in fire, but I suppose that slight omission can be overlooked!
A challenge for you all!
I want to hear about all the marvellous things you've been able to construct with the materials Valve thoughtfully left lying around. I've managed some pretty high box towers, and have built rudimentary see-saws, but I've yet to find enough parts to make a good catapult
Anybody build a pyramid out of barrels? Move the contents of a room onto the roof? Constructed a classical rounded arch? Made a fortress out of boxes? Buried an APC under a mound of furniture? Created any interesting systems such as a plank supported in the middle, with a barrel on each end?
If I get a chance in the future, I'd love to make a few add-on maps filled with things to play with. I really think it could be a popular concept. _________________ Charlie Dobbie

Dang! Accredit it to my masterful aiming or myopia I didn't get them to stick. They always bounced or slid off, but in the light of your findings I'll try again, of course.
Mattresses must be made of asbestos, but I find it regrettable you can't stack bodies or even better, living people with the gravity gun. _________________ Jaz |

I found out one that one of the most amusing ways to fight off manhacks was to grab them with the gravity gun, and then shoot them into the wall. Twice. _________________

Yeah I found that out rather late in the game. Spent most of my time trying to whack them with the crow bar. _________________ IMHO my opinion is humble |

I've heard tell that if you grab a manhack with the gravity gun...
Spoiler:
...it makes a pretty good chainsaw!
But since I'm deep in Ravenholm, I've not had a chance to try that yet. _________________ Charlie Dobbie
