| Strange Confusing Crashing Problem... |

Ok, I've got a problem, but it's weird... I've installed the patch, turned off sound, done various other things, reinstalled, etc... So anyway, to the problem. First off, I will say, Gothic ran fine before I formatted my hard drive. The thing is, some of the times I play it, it plays fine, and other times, it doesn't. I don't know why it sometimes does, and why it sometimes does not. When it DOESNT play fine, the Pirahna intro screen would freeze, and after I disabled it, you get into the game fine, load game, and but like, as soon as i do something, like move, etc, the game freezes. But sometimes, I can do more than just look for a couple seconds before it freezes, like running around. But if I stop, usually, or eventually for no reason, it'll freeze up. Well, not for no reason, but none that I can pinpoint. I originally thought it was a sound or graphic problem, and it might still be, but i've tried several things. And remember, sometimes, it DOES run just fine, and I can play as long as I want. I don't get it. Any help would be vastly appreciated. |

I was just messing around, and loaded a previous save. It works fine, I found out the problem is the new game (which is where I had been loading from previously). When I try to move around in there, it freezes up. But still, before the most recent save, which I was using, I had been in there for quite a while. I guess I'll just avoid the New Camp until I figure how to fix it. |
