That is what's posted on JoWood's website. They'll probably update it when they near release of the game.

It will most likely be delayed over and over and over again like Arx.
Jowood bites dust.

I don't know how long we'll have to wait, but I hope it comes out sooner rather than later. I guess it's up to the publisher at this point.

I got a response back to an e-mail I sent about updating the web-site that said most of the development team is on vacation right now, after working hard to finish up the German and English versions. That would imply that the English version is done and is just waiting for release!

C'mon Jo Wood. If it's done, let us have it!

And of course, as usual, whenever it comes out in the rest of the world, it will take a LOT longer to arrive here (if ever). Still, I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I think the real reason for the delay is so that G2 (English version) can be in the running for RPG of the year in 2003!!

Unlikely. Even it is, beside some other potentially good CRPGs of 2003, they will have an uphill battle with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, the game from veteran CRPG maker & established Bioware. Bioware already have their own fans base, plus the rabid fans from Star Wars universe, and the well recognized brand name of "Star Wars" itself.

Jowood is run by a bunch of asshats, too bad a top notch studio like PB has to deal with them.

Ill be suprised if the english version of G2 isnt delayed till summer. I also wont be suprised to find that It is not available on store shelfs in the US when it is release, because those incompetent weasels at Jowood wont promote it.
