Which guild gives the most Xp? |
|
I was wondering which guild has the advantage of most Xp.
I came out that the path of the Mage is the one for two reasons.
Before you join a guild you do all the missions you can get from the
city(paladin) and Onars farm (mercenary). If you want to become one of those (pal./merc.) you just stop at this quests. But if you have completed those quests and want to become a Mage you have another of variety of tasks to complete in order to become a Mage.
The second reason is (assuming offcurse that playing in every guild you kill the same monsters) that a mage kills one more beast. The "black wolf".
Closing up if I am right, that the magicians' guild gives more XP, it seems that would be more logical 'cause to the fact that a mage needs more L.P. points to learn as much spells as he cans and train after joining the monastery strenght, dex.,fighting skills. _________________ I come from space. From outer space! |

I suppose the best people to answer this question are those who have played
several times each as a pally and a merc and a mage then from experience you could get a clearer answer, although, just a wild guess i would agree, the "mage" for the same reason - - spells.
But there is also the "unknown" factor, finding that hidden "trick" in the game where you can "tweek" your xp by repeating a sequence that the game-writers never intended to happen. _________________ Forever aches my wretched soul, for Chromanin locked in that dark hole, though crypted key i've yet to learn, he knows one day i will return. |

Tell the truth, I think Merc/thief does. Played all three as thief and all three as nonthief. Got the highest level as merc/thief, level 43. That's killing every critter on the 2 maps and only those humans as necessary to complete quests. I don't like killing if uneccessary, after all their body stays there and clutters up the place. _________________ Just watch out you don't stress yourself out.

I think that the game is quite balanced out, Each Guild yeilds about the same overall EXP, and if one does have more I don't think that it would be worth worrying about. I Finished the game about 849 times now, and i ended up at about the same level at the end _________________ R.I.P "Dimebag" Darrell Lance Abbott

Further along the lines of the original question,
I know it is easily possible to go over level 50, so which guild would be the best choice to achieve this? _________________ Forever aches my wretched soul, for Chromanin locked in that dark hole, though crypted key i've yet to learn, he knows one day i will return. |

If you join merc./pal. you miss all the tasks you get from monastery in order to become a mage. But if you want to become a mage you can always complete first the tasks which you need to become pal and merc. and then go inside the monastery. So you have an advantage of lot xp points. _________________ I come from space. From outer space! |

yes that is true but you only get about 25 EXP for each of those quests. I joined the monastary on level 18, and I was still on level 18 when I bacame a mage. _________________ R.I.P "Dimebag" Darrell Lance Abbott

@Graham2:I dont think so 25XP.I cant recall any tasks that gave only 25 XP not even "information for Garvell" in chapter1 didnt give so few XP points.
I am sure the the test of fire gives a lot of XP.
@poohead8989:Mages have the Seekers quest which gives 180XP
for each Seeker/NPC you beat up and XP when you bring almanacs of the possesed to the high councill.End that quest lasts for 4 chapters I think. _________________ I come from space. From outer space! |

test of fire gives 100 EXP for each completed task, the other tasks all have less than 100EXP if I remember rightly. _________________ R.I.P "Dimebag" Darrell Lance Abbott
