Okay, this could be defined as a spoiler, but I really dont want to post in the spoiler board since i'm doing everything I can to avoid being spoiled or use an online walkthrough, I want to play through Gothic 2 unguided, but i'm at a bit of a stuck point and I need to know 1 thing and 1 thing only.
Who can train me in weapons that doesnt require me to be part of their guild? And where can I find them (try to avoid major spoilers and stuff).

That dude in the harbour district who stands behind some huts i think he did teach weapons improvement skills and by mercs when u almost entered theyr camp there is a dude who could teach u that also  [ i talked here with hints so if u didnt want any spoilers u need to figure out by youself who those ppl are]  |

I think tha g2 addon has magic bows. is it true?

It's true. I've found two magic bows so far and one magic crossbow. I haven't used them yet, and apparently from what I've read in other forums, they aren't that special.

LOL they are special actually  if u got nice accuracy skills for bows or crossbows the bad thing is u cannot buy and bolts or arrows for them anywhere so can use them only in limited amounts |
