Hi all and congrats to a very informative forum.
I have been playing U9 on and off for a year or two now and have suffered all the bugs that are before mentioned, i have just downloaded patch 3 and am about to reinstall U9 for about the one hunderedth time.
I was wandering if i may be able to ask a favour of some one here... I really am loathe to start the game from the beginning again as i am sick of the first few hours of play having done them so many times. Would anyone have a saved game file they would be willing to share at the end of or just past of the dungeon Hythloth please otherwise i might not take it up again i just cant bear the pain !!!!!
I am afraid i dont really have any info on these games to offer in exchange for the above help as everything i know seems well and truly covered here !
But i will truly be indebted to anyone who can help.

Sorry, I don't have any saves from my last run through the game. I lost them to a hard drive crash. Good luck with your next run though the game though!

You just have to teleport & swim in right direction to get out of Hytloth.
I've got three storage of things in the game:
1. Lord British's Castle - The magican's room (the upper room of the castle)
2. Bucaneer's Den - The docks - near Raven's ship
3. New-Magencia - The magic circle near the entrance of tunel to Bucaneer's Den
And I've got Iolo's Bow and 'Death Cloud'! Right after the first shrine cleaned!
But no cheats used!!!
Spoiler:
I started as Bard (Dexterity=2)
First advancement: Dexterity+1.
You know - Iolo wouldn't teach you before you get 'tripple shoot' in Britan and
'fire arrow' in Yew. So I've visited Dispice, collected enough money and learned 'tripple shoot', and then i've done a long and dangerous trip to Yew and back before the story brings me there (crawling there by mountains isn't easy, but possible)
Then i cleaned the shirine of Compassion, and come to Iolo for new knowlege!
If you think it's not right (unbalanced, e.t.c.), just don't use Iolo's Bow and
'Death Cloud' before you'll decide you deserve it  |
