The skill points question

Sorry for my ignorance.

The response given about a cheat for adding to skill points used "lp" in the edit abilities window, but "lp" is for editing life points. What does G2 edit, and how do you edit the skill points?

G2 stands for the gothic follow on, gothic 2.
The question has been asked several times before, there is no cheat to increase skill points, it can only be done through dialogue with certain npc's in the game, you have to "convert" your gained exp' points. Furthermore there is no need to cheat with extra skill points, all other humans or creatures in the game has "zero" skill points. Only pc-hero can increase skills. By tweaking many other "stats" you can be far superior than you could ever imagine. There is more deeper info' but this should be ample for now?

You can freeze your skill points with RAMCHEAT. So you can learn skill and your skill point never decrease.

But remember to unfreeze them before level upgrade hehe.
