1. Roleplay
2. Be patient
3. Enjoy the world, explore, explore, explore
4. Save often!
5. Do not try to power game, ROLEPLAY or the game is a waste.

Does that help?

I seyda neen (start town) there are some things you can do to make things easier:

Near the Lighthouse there is a treestump with 25 gold ( i think) and a silver cup in it)
A little further back behind the lighthouse there is a treestump in a swamp with an enchanted 2-handed axe in it.

If you can pick locks: Open the roomdoor upstairs in the tradehouse. Underneath the bed is a good light bodyarmor (cuiras?). Equal quality to chitin only heavier. Below the pillow is an enhanted dagger. (the room has a 50 lock and is hard to pick unseen)

Open the warehouse:
Chest with armor and weapons in it. Only 1 guard that walks around. So it is easy to steel once you onlock the door. (i walked out with a complete steel heavy armor once )

General tip:
Chest respawn, so if you don't find anything usefull in a chest don't take anything. The next time you start up the game the chest will have something else.
The sign of the lady is the most powerfull, the sign of the shadow (invisability) can be used only 1 a day, and you can find enchanted cameleon ring and spells that will do the same.)

Make sure you got the max pionts before leveling up.
10 points in major and minor will make you lvl when you sleep.
Use the misk skills to max your attributes. 10 skills up of 1 attribute gives you *5 to that skill. (10 lvls up in axe, long blade, blunt or/and armorer gives you 5 points to strenght)
You can pick 3 skills when leveling up.

Hope this helps.
If you need more info, ask a more precise question
