I've just been messing arround trying to find the entry to Gomez's basement to set this fella free..
I figure the doorway arround the side of the castle is'nt the way, because I am greeted with steel bars. Is there annother way?

hi
in gomes house you go upstairs,in one of the
rooms there is a second door ,you have to open it with a combination of arrow-keys.
then you come to a next door open it and you
are inside.but you need picklock-skill.

Walk into the barrack, then down the stairs. He's behind one of the doors there. They can be opened after whacking gomez.
If you have the Ore Armor, remember to ask the smith to reinforce it.
