Where is the Bard's Tale PC? |
|
I have searched the news section. But, i can't find any news about that. Any of you know when the PC version of Bard's Tale will be released? |

The games database is probably the best way to do this...on the left navigation menu, click Games Database, then look through to find the game - that will show everything we have ever posted for that title.
Here's the Bard's Tale entry:

The top two entries under Announcements cover your query. Last October an official press release announced "Spring" for the PC version but just a few days ago we posted that online game sites had shifted their dates to "Summer". Nothing new officially, though. _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

I'm not too worried about when the game will come out. It's sacrilege to the series, I mean, when you pick up a suposedly "better" weapon, the game auto-equips and you must use it until you get another "better" weapon. I didn't think they could dumb down diablo, but they did. _________________ irc.gamesurge.net #planescape #fallout |

The game has been delayed - latest I saw was July. I'm not sure if they are actually doing anything based on all of the criticism ...? Given that the console version is already nearly 6 months old, I can't imagine what else ...

I believe a new version of the old classic Wasteland is planned, but nowhere near release. I doubt much work has been done on it yet. The people at NMA may be able to help you out more. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

There isn't enough info about the PC version of the game. Only two trailers and all the screenshots that i saw have taken from the console versions. I hope PC ver will be better than the console versions. I do not mean better graphics; but better inventory management system, more locations, much more lenghty game.
IMO, devs do not give much attention to what players are saying. Because, if they do, they would have at least a forum section in their web site.
Don't forget forums are the primary source to make fans to your game. It's the essential part of advertisement. |

As a fan of the first 3 parts of BT ( my first CRPG ever was BT1) on one side
the rare information about the game i got here (thanks guys)
and the *low* non_graphical_performance of the consoles( that will make these games very simple )
i decided to cancel the order.
Now i will patiently wait for Dungeon Lords.
( and "Borderzone"- announced a long time ago..............)

Zeb, wait for some PC reviews to be released before making a final decision on the game. We will have one here, once the game is released. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!
