Good God! When I started this topic I didn't expect it to get so nasty! Stop insulting each other's sports already. Roqua, soccer is not a sissy sport. I know a lot of men who would consider themselves "manly men" that play soccer. In fact, the reason I quit playing soccer was that it was getting too competitive. My coach yelled at me and the other players, and the league was very competitive.
Pikkon, I really think you need to change your attitude. You say that baseball players look like monkeys. Baseball uniforms look as good as any other sport's uniforms, and actually, they're a bit nicer in terms of looks because baseball players usually don't rip they're uniforms up as much and aren't required to run constantly. Baseball is not as simple as: hit the ball. It has a lot of strategy involved. Examples are: which pitcher is best suited to face each batter, refining your swing, and know how to hit the ball where you want it to go. Val, baseball it not always about hitting the ball as far as you can. Not all batters are strong enough to hit a lot of home runs (when the ball is hit over the fence, for those who don't know). A lot of times, a short hit will do better than a long fly ball.
As for American football, it's not just an excuse for violence. It is quite possibly the most complicated sport on earth.
Daniel, come on, have some consideration. Your "neanderthalian maces" comment is really shallow.
I am not insulting soccer with this post. I like soccer. It usually seems, however, that's it's the Americans who are ignorant of other cultures. Sometimes, however, it seems to be the opposite. I'm not saying that the Americans are in the right here, I'm just saying that maybe others could try to be more understanding.
Now jeez, if there aren't any baseball fans in this forum, I might change the name of this topic. Let's just stop the fight. This is almost as bad as the Yankees-Red Sox game yesterday (the benches cleared after Roger Clemens almost hit a batter with his pitch).

Sorry to be the one who tell you mage, but i think you havent read all we said... The fight Ended a long time ago, i sayd im sorry and that i dont relly think that way, i like football and i never wached baseball, i bearly know how their uniforms look like, We are trying to get back to topic, coz THE FUIGHT IS ALREDY OVER..

As a person with little knowledge of baseball, you might find it tedious and boring. But once you know the rules, it can be pretty fun. 
There's the Cubs-Marlins game is on Fox right now.

@MageofFire: I'm well aware of the many strategies invloved in baseball. But I'm not going to sit here and explain them all in painful detail. That would be boring. So, I just told Pikkon the basic premise in the game. Hit the ball and get around all the bases (or as many as you can) without being tagged. Usually the best way to do that is to hit the ball out of the park. You need to keep things simple for those who have no idea what you're talking about. Otherwise, you'll end up confusing them.
