i am anovice i havee to make a ruin i have every thing i need but i cant find a blank rune were can i get 1? also wat is the rock creature? the 1 that was summoned?

I didn't see blank runes being sold until chapter 5. It probably will be different for you, since your following the path of magic. I went from a blacksmith's apprentice, to militia, to knight, to currently a paladin in chapter 5.
In order to make runes, I think you have to train in it first. Have you spent any learning points on making runes yet? (I could be wrong about this, I'm sure someone else will clear this matter up for you.)

I'm having the same problem. I think it may have something to do with the ignaz fellow that Master Karras sent you after.
technically you dont need training to make the runes, since as a paladin you make one to get to the special room. but at the point we are at, training is not an option.

You have to solve the test of fire first. One quest of this test involves finding a rune stone in a cave (something with path of innos). You are given a key for this quest by one of the council mages.

I bought about 5 blank runes from the guy in the monestary (on the right side after you enter; his door parallel to the main gate). Too bad I could not use them because I was a Mercenary/DragonHunter and never trained past the level 0 circle of magic.

didnt want to start new topic so i put it here.
I'm a novice and i did the quest like sweeping chambers, distribting saucage(that quest failed :'( ) and wine etc..
but now i cant get any other quests and i cant get the test of fire quest.

go to the wine celler, you'll find there in one of the rooms a fire mage that makes potions, talk to him and he'll give you two missions. do them both.
then go to the other fire mage that guards the place with the temple of Innos and the paladin, he'll tell you to pray for the paladins, do so.
the paladin will give you a small and easy job. do that job.
I'm pretty sure you'll be able to go to the library now. |

The Stone.. bla bla bla. Is a Magic Golem, that you can only kill be stealing the Sacred Hammer, Kill the golem with one hit and when you'll return to the monastary you'll pay 50gp and the hammer will return to his place.
You can find a runestone in the chest at Pyrokar Quest.
Then you'll only need to go to the library and do the fire arrow. |

To get the test of fire, you must first be able to go to the libary. One book contains information on the test of fire and after yor character knows this it will be an option in the dialog screen when talking to the mages.
