Sorry bud but it won't be out till maybe sometime next week, if were lucky. Those jerkoffs at Electronics Boutique never get a release date right.

Amazon still has the 30th listed as the date and since I bought it from them through this web site, I guess I will have to wait...

Just checked EB. They have the 19th for shipping.

Everything I have heard over the last couple of days suggests that there has been a delay. Problems with publishers or something. If you do manage to get your hands on a copy, let us know!

That’s what EBGames.com says...Just checked the status of my order at Amazon and it says delivery date of Dec. 6-12. Hey Gorath, does RPGDot get any money from me buying Gothic through this site?

I´m not a staff member @RPGDot, so I don´t know the details, but I think they get the normal partner program rates.

What do we have now? Nov. 13th, 19th, 30th, Dec. 6th, 12th and 30th. Folks, I don´t like what I see.

I don't have it yet! I have become so upset with the whole affair that I just went out and bought a copy of DOaC and paid $60 US to import it . That may arrive on my doorstep before Gothic by the looks of it. That is rather depressing.

Operation: Flashpoint is just mundane now.

And now that I hear that Gothic isn't getting released any time soon is just plain sad.

How's Morrowwind? Is it good?

Yeah I know, where just excercising our right as consumers to complain!
The thing is that your probably right that the game will be on the shelves very shortly, and it is purely the fact that distribution is taking longer than expected, but the thing is that usualy the publisher or distributor will inform the retail outlets that the product will be late and give them an alternative shipping date. What is worrying me is that the distributor can't give a date - can't even guarentee that the Australian release will be from the same publisher that was to release it earlier this month.
But its all cool. I have about five games that I have to finish anyway, just Gothic looked cooler!

BTW: Morrowind is not due for release until March 2002 - but looks great..

I am sorry to say that our contact Torsten has left Piranha Bytes and we are still looking for an adequate substitute, so I can't help you with the release date right now
