Mmmmm -

The Elven King has caught me -

Ultima Underworld 1 & 2 have to be in the top 10

Anvil of Dawn was fun, a bit too easy in my opinion.

Might & Magic 6 & 7 were great games too,
MM 8 was too unbalanced and much too easy for
those who had played MM 6 & 7.

Bards Tale II is also an old favorite - greetings to Father Kringle

Baldurs Gate 1 was a good game in the final City -Baldurs Gate- , too much wandering around with nothin' happen before.

Tough question! Whats this with sequels being listed on the same line! Those are two games aren't they? Its no fair if you can't push one of your other favorites out of the way if a series of games deserves it.
1. Ultima 6
2. Ultima 7
3. Ultima 7 Prt II
4. Bards Tale III
5. Pool of Radiance
6. Ultima 4
7. Stonekeep
8. Ultima 9
9. Curse of the Azure Bonds
10.Baldurs Gate

I haven't played that many <:

To be honest, all the sequels I listed, with the exception of Might and Magic,I brought together. UW 1 and 2 I brought together, and U7 I brought as the complete series. With Fallout, I always consider them as one game, but if I had to choose, it would be Fallout 2.

1- Fallout 1
2- Fallout 2
3- Planescape: Torment
4- The 4th Coming
5- Baldur's Gate II
6- Baldur's Gate I
7- Daggerfall
8- Jagged Alliance 2 (eventhough it's not a "true RPG")
9- Deux Ex
10- Diablo I

PS: Chronic, that's a strange nickname for this kind of place (ie. an RPG fans community), I hope you know at least what "chronic" exactly stands for...

That funky skunky smelly green sh*t. heh
I know you Europeans know what it's about. I though I saw a sig from Amsterdam.
UUMMMM Space Cakes, but I digress.

I also like the "offical" definitions- Longlasting, or so says the Mrs.
Constant, deep-seated.

Used in a sentance, My monk(chronic)

It's time to get Chronic on them punk Drow.

Oh well enough fun for now. I have to comment though, that normally I'm more of a lurker but the conversations going on here really made me want to sign up and take part. There seems to be a lot of GOOD RPG discussions going on.

Wow, trying to think of all the RPGs I have played in the past 20 years,

1. Bards Tale's 1-3 (Thief of Fate rocked hard)
2. Ultima 4-6. (after 6 they went down hill)
3. Wastland! (loved this game alot!)
4. Might & Magic 3-4. (Nice hack and slash)
5. Pool of Radiance. (All Gold box games where good)
6. Baldurs Gate I and II. (BEST character dialogs ever!)
7. Fallout 1 and II (Still play it from time to time)
8. Phantasia. Old 64c/Apple game good.
9. Dungeon Master (first 3rd person combat i played)
10. Legend of Blackheart (forget the real name was on old 64C)

played this one on a Amiga 2000 -> looks like a enhanced Bards Tale.

1. Gothic
2. Realms of Arkania 2: Star Trail
3. Realms of Arkania 1: Blade of Destiny
4. Might&Magic VII
5. Deus Ex
6. Thief I and II
7. Realms of Arkania: Shadows over Riva
8. Might&Magic VI
9. Icewind Dale
10. Planescape: Torment

Note: 9 and 10 actually suck because of the Infinity engine but I couldn't think of any other ones *gg*
Seriously, I sort of liked both games if it wouldn't have been for the Infinity engine
