Playing with Elves has always been my favorite. wielding a two-hander if possible, and otherwise an axe. bows can be used too. when the oppertunity comes, I shall become a wizard, and continue with that path. growing stronger I will learn thief skills and will kill enemies from behind. using 2 pieces of clothes. one is the Wizard robe, the other is a thief suit.
that will be my favorite playing. _________________ Always wondering how it would be... |

Most games i'm an evil necromancer/mage, but in rare cases where I don't like the magic system (Most notably Arx Fatalis, great game BTW) I'm usually a noble thief type. Race doesn't matter but i'm usually human or half-elf. _________________ irc.gamesurge.net #planescape #fallout |

I like to play a mage and use overlooked spells, or a thief type character.
Race priorities go something like:
1. What I think would be good for the story.
2. The best bonuses for my class.
3. Anyone who is an outcast.
4. Never a short person (e.g. Halfling, Dwarve, Gnome) |

Personally i always choose to be a human, and most oftenlly i pick the barbarian or rogue class...the most fitting for me i think. |

ever since i read the Lord Of the Rings 8 years ago (i was 10 years old back then i have loved rough and tough dwarven barbarians. The only problem is that they are often quite boring to play with, no spells only a few powers in most games. But i always play my games twice or more (yes i only play GOOD games) and so there are enough opportunities for the arrogant clean-washed elven mage or something else with nice gameplay but stupid roleplaying |

I prefer archer/thieves with some knife fighting skills....I like filching everything that isn't nailed down. Race? Well I love tiefling but any race besides elf would be good. _________________ "What are you gonna do? Release the dogs?! Or the bees?! my opinion since last time has changed a bit.
still my favo class are Elves, and -- ofcourse -- Dark Elves. but now the stealth time is over. I like big, heavy armors, large swords or spears and if possible, one or two spells... _________________ Always wondering how it would be... |

I like the barbarian type or an other savage fighter class there is
as for the class I would love to go for the dwarf or other small tuff skull bashers or the just the oppiste the giagantic skull bashers(.
And otherwhise I always have a kind of affection with the necromancers _________________ Want to become a vampire? a warrior in the battle between vampires and werewolves?

i like the highly offensive (but very fragile most of the times ) wizards.
hmm, i do like other classes too, but they're all involving witchcraft
race...i guess the most appropriate every time. and that is usually human(ish). |

The filthy, stinky humans. Yeah right, I'll pick an elf any day of the week.
As well as a mage, not a sorcerer. Ahh...the memories. Defeating an army with a wave of my hand. Morrowind is the only exception, I play as a Imperial paladin in that because the magic system stinks to high heaven. Although I played a Dark Elf bard like character once and that was fun. _________________ Do you know how LAZY you Morrowind people are! Well for me, it would be as follows:-
Race = Monaco Grand Prix
Class= 5B at Bristol Atrs College (the one with the girls in)
But seriously folks, I tend to side with eleves or half elves and play as Magic users or thief / rogue.
I find the human element too bland. Warriors and fighters etc, well, you can usually just charge and kill, whereas I think with a MU more thought and skill / strategy is required.

This is a hard question for me since I like to switch around alot.
A couple of rules apply though: I usually avoid arcane spell casters ... to much like work in the early stages of a game, and for D&D settings the choice of spells is not always obvious (how the heck was I to know the fearsome slurpy bone breaker was imune to fire and cold?).
So favorite class/race combos (using NWN as basis):
Elven ranger,
Dwarven defender,
Human Cleric,
Human/Elven pally/fighter
Any Barbarian
Elven Thief
Not crazy about monks though ... not all campaigns really support them.
On my 'must try' list is an elven druid. _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=

Most of the time, I will play a dwarf cleric.
If its party based (like Wizardry) I usually try and model one character after me and one after my wife. Usually as two human - warriors types in the group. |

For games with parties I have quite often based them on my cats:
Mike the big (not all the bright) good natured, fast fighter
Natalie - the quick sure footed, intellegent rogue type
Madeline - This black cat is a spell caster ... with a concience
CJ - The good natured Cleric _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=
