Should I use my BG1 character in BG2? plan on getting ToB

plan on getting throne of bhaal add on as well, should I wait to start BG2 until I get Throne of Bhaal?? and I'd like to use my BG1 character in it as well, will everything adjust automatically and such?

also if 2 people have Baldurs Gate 2 but only 1 person has throne of bhaal can we copy throne of bhaal with cdrw and both people play baldurs gate 2 multiplayer

If you take your guy from BG1 to BG2 and complete it he will carry over seemlessly to Throne of Bhaal.

You both need throne of bhaal. Effectively it's a different version of the game, as it makes changes to the original Shadows of Amn.
