What level should i be before ...

joining a guild or before going to chapter 2???
I'm lvl 10 !!!
specialising in 1handed with 52% and 2handed with 30%!!!
so which guild should i choose ???
Paladins or Merc ???
With my specialisation ???I know that it's too late to join as mage cause i'm already to specialised in 1handed except if someone tells me otherwise ?
I also learned how to skin animals take claws teeth and bloodfly wings !!!
I have like 30+ teeth and 10+ claws and 15+ wings.
Should i sell them or is there a quest related to some of these things???
Which trader should i join ???
Bosper, Harad or Constantino ???
Which alchemist can teach me strenght potions ??
ty in advance for answering these questions !!!

wel, i think your in quite a high level... becuase i'm in chapter 4 and i'm in level 15, and i survive most of the creatures.
i like the mercenaries more (you can become a dragon hunter in chapter 3)
but most people like the militia most (you wil become a paladin in chapter 3)
and you are very good in 1H and 2H, so the mercenaries wil respect you... you must beat up 3 guys (or maybe more), and then it is handy to have high 1H or 2H.

and my favo is harad, becuase when you sell him a self-forged weapon (with a steel billet) you will get 100gp, and to buy a steel billet it will only cost you 10gp!

i hope i helped you a little...

Join the Mercs is my advice. Especialy cause you are highly trained at swordfighting. And stop training in onehanded cause you are only waisting learning points.

well in my opinion there's no real level requisite for each chapter but rather what level you're comfortable with, being lev 10 before joining a guild is perfectly satisfactory (although personally i prefer going a bit higher but that's as much cuz i'm terrible at combat as anything else)

as for which guild to join i'd like to point out that the fire mages are not out of reach as most here suggest an emphasis on increasing combat skills before joining the fire mages even for those with the aim of becoming a mage from the start (as once you have become a fully fledged mage the costs are doubled). with that said if you wish to join either the mercs or paladins it's also a matter of personal preference more than anything else with the mercs generally being better fighters while paladins have access to limited magic. well when it comes to hunting skills, unless you're a mage trophies are used only for cash with a few exceptions for the merc of shadowbeast horns (which in a later chapter you can give to buster), dragon blood (to forge the most powerful melee weapons) and dragon scales (to give to jan to get better armour or bennet for armour and xp). in addition to this if you kill the black troll and skin it, i'd suggest that you not sell it and give it to raoul in onar's farm.

the choice of who to apprentice with is completely up to yourself as the skill that they can teach you can be taught by others (except skin animal which is taught to you before you apprentice so it doesn't matter anyway). the only real difference is that you are able to sell certain goods to each at full value (as opposed to a third which most merchants offer). most go for bosper as there is a limited amount of raw steel with which to make swords for harad (although it is possible to go to bennet and buy an unlimited amount of the stuff and get unlimited gold from harad but that's not really in the spirit of the game) and herbs are often used to heal rather than just for gold.

as for alchemy you should be aware that you must learn the lesser potions before being able to learn the permanent stat potions (for dex and str it's the healing potions and for mana it's the... well... mana). to answer your question however i beleve that constantino, ignaz and sagitta (after a quest) can teach strength potions

well i think i've answered your questions (although others will no doubt correct me if i'm wrong as i'm going from memory here) so good luck on your game

ty all, but which apprentice brings in the most advantages ???
Which guild is best to be when you want to be able to use some spells but also be a very good melee fighter ??
I've heard that sagitta teaches u to make perm dex potions and that or ignaz or constantino teaches u to make strenght potions so i would like to know who teaches you those ??
and is it normal i can enter the monastery without being a novice ??? ***POSSIBLE SPOILER***( u can enter the monastery if u go up there to the gate then right en there r stones u climb them u get on ther roof and then u are in the monastery)
but ican't make any quests there but i can buy spell scrolls from Gorax and potions for Neorhas the alchemist there !!!
***END OF POSSIBLE SPOILER***
If i think of something else i'll tell !!!

well if you want to be primarily a melee fighter but have use of runes (as opposed to one shot scrolls) you'd need to join the paladins as mercs are unable to get any runes (except of course the teleport runes you get later)

as for whose apprentice to be i think i've said most of what is to be said. you sell skins to bosper, self-forged swords to harad and herbs to constantino (harad and constantino can teach forging and alchemy respectively as apprenticing with them but these skills are also available from other teachers elsewhere)

well i could be wrong here but here the perm stat potions

constantino - str,dex
ignaz - str
sagitta - all
neorhas - mana (only for mages)

while it is possible to enter the monastry without joining (the difficulty is getting out) you don't really get much of a benefit except those that you've mentioned. as far as i believe it isn't intentional and doesn't have any adverse effect on game
